The Examinations Cell is a mandated department within an autonomous college. The university has fully delegated the crucial and customary responsibility of conducting examinations to the autonomous institution.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations (CoE) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the administration and management of all examination-related activities. As a statutory body within the college, the CoE is responsible for conducting examinations, processing results, awarding grades, and issuing academic certifications.

The university formally recognizes the marks, grades, Grade Sheets and provisional certificates issued by the Controller of Examinations for the purpose of awarding final degrees.

In an autonomous college, the institution independently conducts both formative and summative assessments of its students. In this academic framework, students are the primary stakeholders and beneficiaries of the evaluation process.
