Program Educational Objectives
Program Educational Objectives of the UG in Civil Engineering are:

PEO 1. To possess the knowledge to employ as a practicing civil engineer in construction, design, testing, and allied fields.

PEO 2. Engage in self-directed learning to undertake higher studies and research in the rapidly changing civil engineering environment.

PEO 3. Create new methods/processes to meet the needs of society with their civil engineering knowledge.

PEO 4. Develop themselves as ethical and responsible professionals with good communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities.

Program Specific Outcomes

PSO1. To be able to use concepts of Civil Engineering to perform Geotechnical Investigation, Survey and subsequent analysis, design, estimation, and execution of Civil Engineering Structures.

PSO2. To be able to apply Civil Engineering concepts to the Environment, Water Resources, and Transportation Systems.

PSO3. To use modern software tools for the analysis and design of Civil Engineering Structures as well as Geomatic applications including Hydraulics and Remote Sensing.
